UPDATE ON SPANKEE DECEMBER 15TH, 2012

Hi Everyone, It’s ME – Spankee again!!

I wanted to thank everyone for donating to my surgery… it went well, but a month later I am still not weight bearing at all. I am a bad boy cause I won’t let my rescue mommy do rehab on my leg. So she had to drop me off at Canada West for hydrotherapy, laser treatment and range of motion work on my leg. I am gonna be here at Canada West for a week, and the total cost of my rehab is $392.00

I know it is Christmas time, and money is tight for everyone, but would any of you be able to chip in to my rehab fund? My rescue mom just spend over $1000 on 3 dogs that were surrendered the other day, and the money tree she tells me about in the back yard has lost all it’s leaves.

If you can chip in, please contact Canada West Vet Specialists directly and tell them that you are donating towards “Spankee’s Rehab”. My rescue mom is going to pick me up on the 21st of December, and it would be such a nice gift for her if they told her the bill had been paid already!!!

Then I can give her big kisses for Christmas and she will be happy!!!

Spankee is the cutest little rescue mutt ever: he is loving, playful, full of spunk and character. However, Spankee needs your help. He was diagnosed with Legg Perthes Disease in January, a painful and irreversible disorder that causes hind limb lameness. The surgery he requires is called a femoral head and neck ostectomy which consists of removing the upper portion of the thigh bone (femur).
