Rose is a beautiful young mixed breed of unknown origin. She is very friendly, loves to play, loves cats and kids, and gets along well with dogs. Rose has been in the rescue since September of 2009. We can’t understand why she hasn’t been adopted yet, as she is one of the easiest dogs one could ever ask for.
She has been very well trained. Her basic commands are perfect. She knows how to sit, stay, come, leave it and she is housebroken too. However, after being in so many different foster homes, she has developed a bit of fear. Fear of being hit it seems, and to be honest I have no idea what was happening in all the homes she has been in so far. But one interesting thing is that we have discovered that Rose is very good with chickens too!
We are not going to be allowing Rose to go to anymore foster homes, nor will she be going on anymore foster to adopt situations either. It seems that this is causing her a great deal of confusion, and it is not fair to her. The next home that is interested in her, is going to have to love her for who she is, just the way she is…..take it or leave it.
Rose looks much bigger in these photos, but she is very small. She is 13lbs of love. Any family who adopts her will be very lucky to have such an easy going dog in their lives.
Rose has been spayed, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated. Her adoption fee is $395.
An adoption application and home visit does apply. To request an adoption application, please email us at adoptionsdmrs@yahoo.ca
