KILO – Adopted

Kilo

Kilo was surrendered to our rescue, we don’t really know why.  He is 9 years old, has had the same owner since he was a puppy.  He is so skinny, he stopped eating at his previous home.

He came to us, and we fed him chicken, pumpkin and rice.  He has been eating well since.  He is litter box trained.  He is tiny, probably about 3.5 lbs right now, underweight.

He needs a quiet, loving home.  With other friendly small dogs, no large dogs as he is far too small to deal with that.  And absolutely no children.  His previous home had children and his stress levels were so high they feel this is the reason he stopped eating.

Kilo wants love, hugs, cuddles, to sleep in a warm bed, and eat good food.  His teeth are in amazing condition for his age.

His adoption fee is $195.00  An adoption application and home visit is required.

Casper – Adopted

Casper

Casper is 6 years old, a blue/silver and tan Pomeranian.  He last weighed in at 4.4 lbs.  It was obvious when he came that he has led a very difficult life.  My first guess when we picked him up was that he was used only for breeding purposes.  He was emaciated, he had sores all over his body, his teeth were rotten to the core.  His eyes were crusty, and he drooled so much from the infection in his mouth.  He was also not neutered.

He had a bad cough, which we thought was kennel cough, however it turned out that his immune system was so compromised from the infection in his mouth, that his whole body was suffering.  He was picked up as a stray and transferred to our rescue.

Casper’s personality is all sugar….sweet, sweet and more sweet.  He is awesome with all sized dogs, and cats too.  He loves his people, loves attention, loves to cuddle.  His foster mommy has worked hard to get him house broken.  He has had his dental, only leaving him with 4 teeth, and is now neutered.

We did find out his background, and it is a sad one.  I won’t go into it online.  I will however, share the story with only those who are seriously interested in adopting this sweet, deserving little man.

Casper’s vet bills far exceed his adoption fee of $295.00 – He has been fully vetted, including blood tests, skin scrapings, cytology, and of course his dental, neuter, tattoo, vaccinations and deworming.

Adoption application and home visit is required.

Pharaoh – Adopted

Pharaoh

Pharaoh is a young dog, not sure what mix he is, he weighs in at about 13lbs.  He is a special needs dog, as he has suffered a brain injury – Kinda like our little friend Lego.  Pharaoh is smart, but he walks funny, and reacts a little slower to commands than the normal dog.  He may have been hit by a car or kicked – but we are leaning towards the former not the latter.

Doesn’t stop him from getting up onto the sofa (with a mini step up of course) and playing with the other dogs.  His house training has come along very well.  He actually goes to the back sliding door and whines when he wants to go out.  I guess all the other dogs have taught him well.

Pharaoh is fine with all sized dogs, and cats.  He also does not mind children at all.  He is a happy go lucky little guy, and he deserves a great home, with few stairs or carpeted stairs LOL.

He loves to cuddle on the sofa with his humans while we watch TV.  He sleeps in the kitchen on his own bed by the heater, and sometimes he has an overnight accident, and other times he doesn’t.  It’s my fault if he does cause I didn’t take the food and water away early enough.

I don’t let him sleep in my bed in case he falls off in the middle of the night, he certainly does not need more injuries in his lifetime.

Pharaoh is looking for his forever home, and any family would be lucky to have this mild natured little dog as their best friend.

His adoption fee is $195.  He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed.

An adoption application and home visit is required as usual.
