Update August 19, 2013
Today we say goodbye to Russell, he had a wonderful life with his great fur parents and his Eskie Sister. He has had heart trouble for a few years now, and today he gave up the fight to keep on going. Rest in Peace Russell – You were a super awesome friend!!

Russell is a 2 year old Miniature American Eskimo Spitz, weighing in at 12 lbs. He needs a foster home who will be willing to keep him for a couple of months to re-train him. He has gone to many training programs, and has even had one on one training. He knows all his commands – but needs a refresher AND most importantly needs a consistent handler.
He was surrendered by his owners, because he bites them. However, he has not bitten anyone in our rescue and has met many people. We ask that only experienced dog people contact us to help with Russell’s behavioural re-programming.
A home with no children would be a must. We are very willing to have one of our certified dog trainers come to your home and help teach you how to train, handle and socialize him. Consistency and discipline is the key to Russell’s future.
If you feel you are up to the challenge, and want to experience the rewards of helping a dog that would have otherwise lost his life, please contact us at dhanametta@yahoo.ca for a foster application.
Please be aware that Russell will not be up for adoption until his formal training has been completed.
