Delilah sure needs a foster home. She is a darling dog really. Calm in the house and when she hangs out with you. Not destructive in the house either. Needs a little work in the house training, easily remedied by frequent visits to the grass. She is rude upon first meetings with other dogs, so needs to be taught to keep “all four on the floor” as to not piss off her canine friends. She needs obedience training – and has free classes in Port Kells on Mondays and Wednesdays from 630 – 730 and will be free throughout her fostering through DMRS> We are also offering $50 per week to a foster home who will spend that time with her. Yes we will pay you for your time. It isn’t much, but it is something. We hope to have her in foster for 10 weeks until her training is complete. That is $500. She is worth it!
Delilah is a tri-color Pit Bull. She is 2 years old. She will stay in rescue with DMRS until her training is complete, but could really use a foster home to spend time with her and give her the mental and physical stimulation she needs to become highly adoptable.
