B-Boy Update

Today I received some sad news.  Our sweet little B-Boy had passed away in his sleep.  My eyes well up with tears as I write this.  He was always such a happy little soul.  Humans could learn so much from B, despite his challenge, he never ceased to amaze us…always happy.

B-Boy came into our rescue a few years ago.  He was 7 months old.  His owners had finally decided to surrender him, after keeping him from 6 weeks old, paralyzed in the hind legs.  They never did any xrays, or diagnostics.  They just decided to leave him be…and after realizing that it was just too much for them, they ditched him.

When I saw him, I loved him.  He was so happy so sweet.  He would motor around dragging his legs behind him and didn’t have a care in the world.

Michiko and Seigo provided such a wonderful foster home for B.  Michiko thank you for being so kind.  Sean and Serena I send you my love…you were such awesome doggie parents to B-Boy.  You gave him so much and I have to thank you for loving him just the way he was

Thank you to all of those that helped B-Boy.  Thank you Sasha for buying his first awesome cart.

REST IN PEACE SWEET B-BOY- LOVED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN

Yuana and all the furkids will miss you.

Ola Yuana,
We are very sorry to say that yours and our weee B-boy passed away on thursday evening. He was in his sleep with no sign or symptoms of anything that could have been wrong… We know how much he means to everyone and how sad this is for all. B-boy was happy in life and must be happy today as his spirits were always high. He traded in his wheels for wings and is still the best little thing ever. Thank you for bringing him into our lives as we and soo many learned so much from the wee trooper.
Rest in peace B…
In time we want to still be a two dog family as Pedro loves the company and is missing his buddy B… Are any of your dogs posted on DMRS still in need of a loving home?
Again we are so sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news but we had to tell the person who truely did save him, you.
Love Sean & Serena

I remember B-BOY from the Green Room shelter. I’m so happy to see how well he’s doing! I actually cried tears of joy and hope when I watched this video. I’m not exagerating one bit that boy’s an inspiration! Yay B-Boy and kudos to all who helped make this possible for him!

I am so sorry to hear that B-Boy had to leave. I know that he is now running and playing with a fully functioning set of legs. All of us at 1atatime Rescue send our condolences to all who worked with B-boy and loved him so.

Sean & Serena; I do not know but none-the-less wanted to say bless you for all you did for that sweet little furball. I’m sure he and his wheels are tearing it up over the rainbow.

That was amazing and cute. Now I understand why all who knew B-Boy are so heart-broken with his passing. What a determined little spirit.

Hard to not smile when watching this loving inspirational video…a sweet heart of a furkid & furfriend…brought with him lessons for all ages about life and all it’s magic. For those of us who were blessed to actually have a bit of B in our lives are also blessed to have such awesome patient ever-loving open people such as Serena and Sean, cuz obviously B’s intelligence is proven by those he chose to help him help others.
B-Boy made my children sparkle, my husband turn into a joyous boy and always put my life & challenges into perspective… light-hearted, happy & always willing to hump your leg 😀
B-Boy ty for teaching me that I am blessed in all that I have, imperfect and all, it’s all what I make of it – I have strength, power & knowledge to move forward. I CAN B bad to the bone! xo

“Everything I have done for my dogs has turned out to be even better for me” a quote from Captain Zero ( A good friend)…. we will definantely look into another amazing furry friend from Yuanna when we are ready and give our fabulous Pedro (other dog) some one-on-one first. Her mission in saving these sweet creatures can only be supported with love and respect… and their so darn cute who can´t?
