RUSSELL Finally Found his Forever Family!! YAY!

I love it when working together brings happy endings.  Without the help of other rescuers, Russell may have never have found such a wonderful family to spend the rest of his life with.  I must thank Jackie, from Second Chances Rescue for passing on an Eskie application to us for Russell.

Russell deserves so much.  He is such a good dog…we all had tears of joy to hear the great news today.  Thank you Marg and Wes for loving Russell and giving him his forever home.

Russell has been with us for quite some time now and is wondering why no body will give him a chance?

He is such a wonderful little man weighing in at 13 lbs.  He is completely obedience trained and is looking for a home who promises to give him love and understanding, along with the consistent commands that he already knows so well.  Spitzs can be a little quirky, so Russell would like an adult home only, he digs other dogs, cats that are used to dogs are OK with Russell, but he says if you run, I will chase!!

If you feel you can provide Russell with the home he needs, please email us for an adoption application at,  a home visit is also required.

Russell is neutered, dewormed, and fully vaccinated, his adoption fee is $195.

My family and I are very interested in Russell, would there be a good time that we could come by and meet him? We already have a very friendly 11-year-old golden retriever who loves meeting other dogs, and would love to bring him along for the visit! We live in Kitsilano, so it wouldn’t be very hard for us to come pretty much anytime of the day.

    Let me know!

    Hi Maya

we do require all interested parties to complete an application prior to meeting the dogs, to ensure that you and Russell would be right for eachother.

If you would like an application, please send a request to:

    Thank You

Has Russell found his new home? I am very interested in adopting a small dog as my Coco died in March. She was 18. I am very leary about filling out a form where I list all my information on-line. I have been scammed twice in the last month. I would rather talk in person or on the phone. Is this possible?
