Trudy the Regal Manchester – Has Been Adopted

Trudy is a beautiful purebred Manchester Terrier.  She is about 1 1/2 years old and was abandoned by her very young owner when she found a boyfriend that didn’t like Trudy.  So it was good-bye Trudy, Hello boyfriend – (maybe in the near future it will be good-bye boyfriend)

Trudy arrived all skin and bones, with a very bad leg wound.  She has healed up quite nicely and has put on some weight.  She hates cats and is dominant with other dogs, but is not aggressive.  I think Trudy would really love to be the only child, but she seems to have fun hanging out with Charlie, so maybe she would like a dog buddy to hang out with forever.  She certainly would love to find her forever human companion.

Trudy will be spayed next week, vaccinated, dewormed, tattooed.  Her adoption fee is $350.  An adoption application and home visit are required as always.  Please email us at to request an application, thank you.

    Hi Again,

Bouncer is doing great, he’s become quite the little trickster, he’s actually quite happy with us and has totally quit marking and I think he’d be quite happy with a canine pal. Trudy looks adorable and looks as if she’s not too large. I would be more than happy to meet her and I’m sure Bounce would too. Also I see Harry at least twice a week and he’s sure seems to be happy with his new home. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank-you Mairlyn

    Hello Marilyn

Well, looks like your timing was perfect.

You are a pre-approved home because you have already adopted a Louisiana dog “Bouncer” from us a year ago, so you Trudy must be yours.

You have been contacting us for a year now for a second dog, and nothing ever really fit. I am glad that Trudy fit your family.

I have to say to Doug & Jill if you are reading this, this was a hard choice for me too because your application was so perfect – I can’t wait to find for both of you “your perfect new family member”

    With all my kindest regards

As I have said in our emails, we are so very pleased for Trudy to have found a loving home with Marilyn and her family! The main objective is always for the best situation for the animal. I am sure we will connect with the right dog when the time is best and we will love her for many years!

Thanks for your support and goodwill

    Doug and Jill

    Hi Yuana,

An up-date on Trudy nicknamed Booty due to the injury on her paw. I’ve taken her to my vet who tells me she will have to wear a boot on her back paw for the rest of her life because when she was injured, a tendon was severed and cannot be re attached as it was left too long. At the moment we’re working not barking at people and other dogs.Bouncer is still making up his mind about her,Sylvana says Hi…………Bye Mairlyn
