UPDATE

Fogell did very well in Surgery on March 10th, 2012.  Even though it took longer than the specialist anticipated, it was successful and it cost us less than we were expecting.  We would like to send a HUGE thank you to all the people who donated to help Fogell get better, and a GIANT Thank you to Dr. Dave Francis of Canada West Vet Specialists for being so kind and compassionate!!!  Thank you to Dana and Elena for taking care of Fogell and sending me photos while he was at Canada West.

Fogell feels much better now! He is on the road to recovery, and hopefully after he is fully healed, and rechecked, he will be up for adoption. We won’t be accepting applications until such time. He will need to be in recovery for 10 – 12 weeks.

The donations that came in exceeded the surgery costs, and covers all aftercare.  We are also able to use some of it to fix Daisy’s and Chicklet’s Cherry eye.  Thank you so much everyone for helping.  Donations are always needed, as dogs that need medical care always come in.  We hope in the future we can avoid financial struggles that prevent us from providing only the best for our dogs.

Hello All!!

Sorry about that little burp in the site.  We had to clean up the blog a little bit.

Building Materials – Plywood, Fencing, Outdoor Lighting
Land Management – Field and Brush Mower, commercial gas weed eaters, gas powered chainsaws
Outbuildings that can be moved and placed on the property
Pet Supplies – small sized collars, leashed, harnesses, bedding and high quality dog & cat food

Vetting each and every animal that comes into our rescue costs money, some need less vetting than others, and some come in needing much more that what we have on hand at any given time.

We have been asked once again to help save so many homeless, needy, beautiful, loving souls from a couple of high kill shelters in California.

Love knows no boundaries, therefore I did not say no to these deserving dogs.  We are trying to arrange flights for them to come to Vancouver on October 4th, 2009.  It is hard to believe that a mere $199 will pardon these dogs from death row.
