Blanca is approximately 1 1/2 years old and came to us last summer. Her original owners bought her and her boyfriend from a pet store for $800 each. When the landlord found out, he reminded the tenant that “PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED”. To our disgust, we discovered that the owner tossed both kitties out on the street.
My friend Tony found both cats (and the owner), the owner surrendered them and Tony took them in to be fixed. That is when the vet told him that Blanca was pregnant. She was brought to us, after she had given birth to 4 little babies. She was thin and malnourished, infested with fleas, her hair in mats. She didn’t even know how to use a litter box, as she was only a kitten herself when she had kittens. She was a sad little soul.
All her kittens found wonderful homes last October, and we have held on to Blanca for almost a year to ensure her health, and basic kitty training. She has been spayed, dewormed , vaccinated. She is a sweet, loving girl (who now knows what a litter box is). She would love to share all her love and affection with a very special human. She is very good with most other cats and digs well mannered dogs.

These are more great shots of Charlie and Trudy – Charlie is gorgeous and is very well mannered, as his foster mom has told us. Trudy is a doll too, and is loving life. Trudy is a beautiful purebred Manchester Terrier. She is about 1 1/2 years old and was abandoned by her very young owner when she found a boyfriend that didn’t like Trudy. So it was good-bye Trudy, Hello boyfriend – (maybe in the near future it will be good-bye boyfriend)
Trudy arrived all skin and bones, with a very bad leg wound. She has healed up quite nicely and has put on some weight. She hates cats and is dominant with other dogs, but is not aggressive. I think Trudy would really love to be the only child, but she seems to have fun hanging out with Charlie, so maybe she would like a dog buddy to hang out with forever. She certainly would love to find her forever human companion.
Trudy will be spayed next week, vaccinated, dewormed, tattooed. Her adoption fee is $350. An adoption application and home visit are required as always. Please email us at dhanametta@yahoo.ca to request an application, thank you.

Emma is a cute little Shihtzu who is about 3 years old. She is a snorty little thing (a trait of some shihtzus) but it is so cute, and brings laughter to her human companions.
She likes other dogs, but still wants to learn how to play and have some fun. She is fine with cats too. Emma would like to meet some children to see what she thinks.
She is a darling, and would love a giving family to call her own. She will be spayed this week, UTD on vaccinations, tattooed, dewormed & flea treated.
An adoption application and home visit is required. Adoption fee $350.

Lilly is such a sweet girl all of 3 years old. All she wants is love and a warm lap to sit on. She is learning how to walk on a leash and get used to all the noises that scare her when she is outside.
But she learned quickly and started walking with the leash on the way to her foster mommy’s car. A truck drove by and got a little startled. She is housetrained and will be spayed next week, UTD on Vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated and tattooed.
Lilly is great with other dogs and even with cats. She would probably even like children that treat her with kindness and gentle loving.

Bandit is a maltipoo, about 2 years old and is a little love muffin. He takes a few minutes to warm up to you, and underneath that scruffy outer exterior is a dog with a soft interior.
Bandit is fine with other dogs, and seems to be o.k. with the cats he has met along his way. He would like an adult home, cause the little people move too quickly for him.
Bandit will be neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, revolutioned, tattooed
His adoption fee is $350, an adoption application & homecheck are required.

Sookie is a wonderful 4 year old female shihtzu looking for her forever home. She is fine with cats & other dogs, but would like to have a home with older children that respect and understand her.
She is housetrained and very well-behaved. She was brought in to a vet clinic for euthanization due to a simple fix – separation anxiety. We have watched Sookie for a few days now, and she is such a good girl. She does suffer from a very mild case of separation anxiety, but believe me when I say it is so trivial compared to what I have seen, and it is certainly no reason to end her life.
