Jack didn’t get to stay with us for too long, but his foster family sure did fall in love with the little guy. At least he got the best of everything before he passed. He suffered bouts of seizures and instability, off and on for a few months. Poor little dude.
Super special thanks to Jack’s foster parents, who ended up adopting him. We wish there were more people like you out there! So many needy dogs would be so lucky.

Darby is an 11 year old chihuahua, looking for her permanent retirement home. Her owners have passed and she is having a difficult time adjusting to being left alone during the day.
She is a little intimidated of larger dogs, and takes some time to befriend strangers. She needs a loving, quiet home with no young children, where someone is home for the majority of the day.

If you feel you can provide Darby with the home she needs, please do not hesitate to contact us for an adoption application.
Adoption fees are by donation for senior dogs, although an application and home visit are still required.

Cookie is a 15 year old toy poodle who came into our care at Christmas time after her mom passed away.
The family did not want Cookie and the nephews threatened to throw her off the bridge – NASTY!
A close friend of the owner brought her to our rescue, and she went into foster care.
Great news – the foster family has decided to give Cookie her forever retirement home!!
We thank all the big hearted people out there willing to give the senior animals a second chance.
